About Our Instructor
Amy began her yoga journey after she had taken a class at her rec center in college. She was immediately drawn to the physicality of yoga and found herself using it as a form of exercise and weekly workouts. After years of practice and her love for yoga growing, Amy began taking a 200 hour yoga teacher training program. It was during this time that Amy's practice went from solely the physical component of yoga to connecting more into the mindfulness, spirituality and physical benefits of yoga. Amy's classes emphasize the connection between breath and movement and individuality in the pose. When she't not practicing or teaching, you can find Amy on her mat within her own practice in vinyasa flow classes and spending time with her husband and new baby girl Penny.
